Welcome to Just Sign Up ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our volunteer management and sign-up platform (the "Service"). By creating an account, making a payment, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent/guardian, to use the Service.

You represent that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

2. Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity under your account.

You may upload a profile image; by doing so, you represent that you have the rights to the image and that it does not infringe the rights of others or violate these Terms.

3. Roles and Use of the Service

Organizations may post and manage volunteer opportunities. Volunteers may browse and sign up for opportunities.

You agree not to: (a) upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content; (b) interfere with or disrupt the Service; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access; (d) misuse data obtained through the Service; or (e) use the Service for purposes outside its intended scope.

4. Payments

One-Time Payment (current model): Certain features require a one-time upfront payment at registration or upgrade.

Subscriptions (future model): We may offer subscription plans billed on a recurring basis. Pricing, billing intervals, auto-renewal terms, and cancellation policies will be presented before you enroll. If introduced, subscriptions will auto-renew unless you cancel before the end of the current term.

Taxes & Processing: Prices may exclude taxes and payment processor fees, which may be added where applicable.

Failed Payments: We may suspend or limit access for unpaid or failed charges.

5. Money-Back Guarantee

If you're not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial payment by emailing support@justsignup.io with your account email and reason for the request.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. This guarantee applies to your first purchase of a given plan or feature unless we state otherwise.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., profile images, opportunity descriptions). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and transmit your content solely to operate and improve the Service.

Our IP: The Service (software, design, trademarks, and content we provide) is owned by Just Sign Up or its licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works except as expressly permitted.

7. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data are described in our Privacy Policy (linked in the app/website). By using the Service, you consent to those practices.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party tools (e.g., payment processors, email providers). Those services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Compliance and Safety

Organizations are solely responsible for screening, background checks, safety protocols, and compliance with applicable laws for their volunteer activities.

We do not vet organizations or volunteers and are not liable for activities conducted off-platform.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law, or that pose a risk to the Service or other users.

You may delete your account at any time (note that some data may persist as required by law or for legitimate business purposes).

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Just Sign Up and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Just Sign Up and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you (e.g., by email or in-app). Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law; Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Courts located in Arkansas will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless prohibited by law.

16. Miscellaneous

Severability: If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

No Waiver: Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
